Sveti Vid is a small village in hills to the northeast of Begunje in the Cerknica Municipality in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia.[2]
The local parish church, from which the settlement gets its name, is dedicated to Saint Vitus and belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Ljubljana.[3]
